River beach at the rio Dão, near Nagozela

This beautiful place is easy to reach from Abelenda Bike Rental by bike on the Ecopista do Dão. It is just 7 km away from Abelenda Bike Rental ( by car 18 km). Turn right at kilometer 40 on the Ecopista, descending um unpaved road to the river.
Always very quiet.

River beach Senhora da Ribeira

River beach at the rio Mondego / Aguieira Lake, where you can rent several boats. There is also a bar / restaurant with terrace. During the week there are very few people but at the weekend when the weather is good, it can be crowded.

Ocean beach - Figueira da Foz and Quiaios

Although the beach is 93 km from Abelenda Bike Rental, it will take you only an hour to go there, by the IP3 and the A14 (toll). The city of Figueira da Foz has a very large beach. Are you looking for a quiet beach, then go a few kilometers north of Figueira da Foz, to Quiaios.
